As we celebrate the ‘Ten days of Awe’ I felt to share something awesome that happened to me a few days ago.
During a time of dialogue with the Father I began to thank Him for His favor and grace. He allowed me to see into something that really blessed my heart, and I just couldn’t do anything but thank Him. I was humbled at the thought of His kindness toward me, His unmerited favor and grace. I felt unworthy and I looked up and asked why He is so good to little me; I know I can do better and that He deserves so much more of my time and surrender.
Soon after I had prayed, a song came into my heart and I began to hum and sing it. It was about the third time that I sang the song that I realized what I was singing! I knew at that moment that it was the song of the Lord, His response to the cry of my heart. I had not heard this song in a long, long time but it just out of Eternity, leaped into my heart. The song goes something like this, ‘I knew what I was getting into when I called you, and I love you. I knew what I was getting into, and I called you just the same. I knew what I was getting into, and I still love you. I knew what I was getting into and I have no regrets.”
I was undone and in awe of God’s impromptu, mid-day visitations. He and I were in a full-on conversation, and it was all I needed for that time.
Beloved, He loves you and knows you. He wants you to know that He has no regrets about you. He already knows the plans He has for you. He knows your heart and knows the responses of your heart before you even say it.
Most importantly, I want to encourage you to get into conversations with God. Enter with thanksgiving in your heart and practice Asking Him anything according to Matt. 7:7-8. Seek His answers to your issues. He will answer.

Psalms 139:1-24- O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me…
Hebrews 4:13 – And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
1 John 3:19-20 – By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.
